Gvantza was born and raised in the Republic of Georgia. She studied law at Tbilisi state University and obtained her LLM degree from Illinois, Tech, Chicago Kent College of Law.
Before coming to the United States, Gvantza worked at SOCAR, the Azerbaijani gas and oil company, as a legal assistant and lawyer for three years in her hometown, Tbilisi.
She is a fan of Georgian wine and soccer.
